NOWhere Limited offers original artwork and editions by an adventurous new generation of modern media manipulators. As the name implies, NOWhere Limited presents work with a wide scope of contemporary styles and ideas. These include (but are not limited to): commentaries on contemporary culture, character-based narratives, street art- and graffiti-inspired pieces, and sophisticated collage. In addition to one of a kind pieces, NOWhere Limited features a large selection of limited and open editions including giclees, silk screen prints, "designer vinyl" figures and more. NOWhere Limited is curated by artists Scott Lickstein and Elisha Sarti, who founded the enterprise in December 2006. |

Who are you? Artists and founders of NOWhere Limited - Scott Lickstein and Elisha Sarti - make, sell and appreciate all kinds of art... This married couple's obsession with creating new things, examining new ideas and collaborating with others who also do so permeates their lives. Their motto is to try to treat every aspect of life with as much care, finesse and creativity as they would an art project. Originally from the East Coast (Elisha-NJ, Scott-Philly,) Elisha and Scott first met while studying at Baltimore's Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in the early 1990's. After college, the pair traveled the American West. They fell in love with Boulder, Colorado's terrain and lifestyle and decided to set up a home base there. Today, they breathe the air at about 8000 ft, from the western-most edge of Boulder County. They live with a really cute dog and a small school of large fish. | How do you say the name - is it "nowhere" or "now here?" It's both! You can say it either way, depending on your current mood... We have always been fascinated by word-play. When thought of as "now here," the phrase is the definition of contemporary - the kind of art we show is being produced now; it is current and contemporary. When thought of as "nowhere," the word refers to the history of NOWhere Limited - we began in 2006 as an online entity, existing only in the "virtual world" and have since evolved into having shows in "real life." In combination, the phrase "nowhere limited" hints at our open attitude toward art-making. The word "limited" also refers to our emphasis on collectible limited edition pieces. |

What kind of art do you show? Although each and every piece we show is hand-chosen, we have no restrictions on the style of artwork we show. The only criteria to be met is that we like it and that it was made within the past few years or so. We tend to like art that has a sense of humor or has multiple layers of meaning.
