The imagery in this piece and its sister $AVE/PRODUCE was derived from bits and pieces of the materials used to make it - saved junk mail and flattened paperboard boxes that once contained food or other goods. There are many images within the larger image on this one - the artist's favorite hidden image is from a greeting card of a super-saccharine-sweet dog and cat. Paper scraps salvaged from this large work were used to create surfaces for Elisha's small round paintings - the Junkmail²series.

This piece was part of the SAVE/PRODUCE show at NOWhere Limited Gallery, on view August 2 - 24, 2008.
