L.O.V.E. stands for Living Out Violent Emotions!

Cragmire is the moniker the artist gave to his creative side at an early age. Over the years his artistic and "real life" personae have converged, but were originally created as an example of the conflicts and irony in his life. Says the artist: "John is the responsible part of me that wakes up every morning at 7:00 a.m. to go to work at United Arts of Central Florida in order to pay my mortgage and advocate for the arts. Cragmire is the part of me who goes home every night at 5:00 p.m. looking for creative outlets to delve into, be it film, music, art or LIFE." He's the co-founder of INterLude Films and is a columnist who writes about independent films.

This piece was part of the exhibit Nonpareil, on view at NOWhere Limited Gallery in Nederland, Colorado from July 4-27, 2008.
